Sanatoga Pet Services: More Than Just Pet Care
Sanatoga Pet Services is known primarily for pet care. We offer dog walking, pet sitting, and drop-in visits when families are away. But from the beginning, our business has always included something beyond services for animals. The “& More” has represented a simple mission: be a good neighbor, help when someone needs it, and show up in real, practical ways.
That mission showed itself clearly today.
Early this morning, four neighbors needed a ride to the airport for a flight to Mexico. The pickup time was 4 AM (Tequila time, of course). Vacation travel already comes with enough stress. Timing, parking, traffic, and planning can take away from the excitement of the trip before it even starts. Providing a ride removed one of those stress points.
Supporting Local Along the Way
Before heading to the airport, we made a stop at Eps Beverage, a local beer distributor in the area. Supporting local businesses has always been part of how Sanatoga Pet Services operates. If something is being purchased or tried, it should come from the community when possible.
I picked up an eight-pack of not pizza. Not pizza is a vodka-based alcoholic seltzer with bold flavors and intentionally funny branding. Despite the name, there is no pizza involved. Given the destination, the Margarita flavor felt right.

Not pizza was started by Chris Lerch and Luke O’Brien in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. Their goal is to create a bold, playful vodka seltzer that doesn’t “take itself too seriously.” The brand focuses on different flavors and connecting with people in a funny way. The name itself is definitely a conversation starter and makes you kinda laugh and wonder why “not pizza.” So cheers to them!
The Ride Itself
Once everyone was in the car and on the road, the vibe shifted quickly. By the halfway point, the stress of travel logistics was already gone, and vacation mode had clearly begun. (The not pizza margaritas definitely helped…) My car did smell like tequila, but it had to be done.
This is what the “& More” looks like in practice. Not a listed service. Not something advertised heavily. Just helping however possible.
Why Not Pizza Fit the Moment
Not pizza worked well for an early airport run because it was simple, strong, and easy. Early morning airport trips do not need formality. They need reliability and a bit of excitement (alcohol) to show that the trip has officially started. Alexa, play “Getting Drunk on a Plane” by Dierks Bentley, please.
The People Behind What We See on the Shelf
The decision to try not pizza was influenced by seeing content from Jayde, known online as slayed.by. Jayde is a hair stylist based out of Malvern who focuses on dimensional color and extensions. She works with not pizza and has become a recognizable face connected to the brand locally. Rather than presenting it as a polished advertisement, she shares the product in everyday settings: home, events, golfing, and moments where people actually enjoy it.

That approach made the brand feel local and approachable. Seeing her content, then spotting not pizza at Eps Beverage in Limerick, made it a no-brainer to purchase. Jayde helps show the personality of the brand without turning it into a commercial. That authenticity is what stood out.

More Than Pet Services
Sanatoga Pet Services will always focus on caring for pets. That is the foundation. But being present in the community means paying attention to what people actually need day to day. Sometimes that need involves animals. Sometimes it involves transportation. Sometimes it is simply showing up early so someone else can start their vacation without worry.

This blog will continue to share experiences like this. Real moments. Real places. Real things tried and used in everyday life. Just honest reflections from being active in the community every day. That is what the “& More” has always meant.
Conclusion: The Heart of Community Care
In the end, it’s all about connection. Whether it’s providing a ride to the airport or sharing a laugh over a quirky drink, we’re here to support our neighbors. Our mission goes beyond pet care; it’s about being there when it counts. So, next time you think of pet services, remember that we’re also your local helpers, ready to lend a hand.
Let’s keep building this community together, one small act of kindness at a time. After all, we’re all in this together, right?
